Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Really teeny tiny! Like, 4'8" tiny. Scrawny even though he's pretty fit. Boy-ish sort of build.

2. How old is he?
7 sweeps, so about 15 years.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Doesn't exactly slouch, but prone to trying to make himself look even smaller. Obviously has like 0 confidence whatsoever. Very submissive, over all!

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
In good shape! He spends his days running around a forest from things that may or may not eat him, so. He eats extraordinarily well though trolls probably aren't built for a vegetarian diet.

On the other hand, he also semi-regularly consumes poison for SCIENCE!!!!!!!!! So idek.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Tense, but by...no means is he either clumsy or graceful. In a way, he's pretty economical about moving in that he tends to be very deliberate unless he's freaking out. On the other hand, he fidgets a lot, but that's more because of nervousness than anything else.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He's cute in a boyish sort of way! The sort of "want to hug and cuddle and wrap in a blanket" type of cute. He will grow up to be very, very pretty (because fucking Ancestor genes), and unfortunately look rather much like a lady, whoops. He personally thinks he looks plain and boring.

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Gray like every other troll! Has some scars on his body, mostly prominently on his right shoulder where he got skewered with a sword, but otherwise normal.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Black, short, with a slight curl to them! Goes a little past his ears.

9. What color are his eyes?
Standard troll yellow with black irises. They're sort of vaguely filled in with bright red, which is to say you might be able to tell if you squint a little, and within the next sweep they'll fill in completely.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He has horns that resemble these, albeit much smaller and scaled down to his size. Because they sort of grow forward, they add only about an inch of height at best! And they'll never grow particularly big.

11. What are his chief tension centers?
He is tense most of the time, does everywhere count?

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Like most trolls, kind of doesn't really get fashion! Very practical, tends to like things with a lot of pockets and long sleeves. Doesn't have much variation because he doesn't have many sets of clothes to begin with. ...But if it has flowers on it he will wear it even if it is the girliest thing. Because flowers.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
When he was little his clothes were all a little oversized on the logic that he'll grow into them sooner or later. He has, more or less. His shirts are on the looser side since he's so scrawny but otherwise they fit okay. He's pretty comfortable in them.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He...doesn't have a job. He does wear an apron when he's experimenting with chemicals and stuff, but that isn't really a job.

15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Box...ers...? Idk underwear is not something I usually think about.


Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Very boyish! A little on the higher end, but still easy to peg as belonging to a dude.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Very soft and hesitant! He sounds perpetually unsure of himself and tends to give this vague impression of...unhappiness, or at least melancholy, despite his best efforts to cheer up. Tends to pause in between phrases weirdly, sort of "spacing them out" like how he puts sentences and phrases on a new line in his typing quirk! Which just makes him sound more hesitant.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
His "l"s sometimes sound closer to "r"s; think Generic East Asian accent on a lower level. He hates this. He also uses "urm" a lot when nervous or unsure, mostly to stall conversations while he tries to beat his anxiety down to actually carry it on whoops.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
WHATEVER THE FUCK IT IS TROLLS SPEAK.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
When angered, uses precision f-bombs and generally speaks with more force -- less stumbling and weird pauses and more saying what he really thinks! It's also in effect to a lesser degree when he's annoyed, minus the swearing. Also surprisingly good at this depressing deadpan.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He's so anxious around people that he pretty much has to think about his words. On the flipside when Kappy blurts things out he can go on for quite a bit, if only because chances are it's going to be packed with Feelings he typically doesn't express much! Like anger.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Uhhh he's surprisingly eloquent when he really gets into it. The problem is he's nervous around people and that usually trips him up badly. Add that to his various other problems and Kappy ends up having a hard time expressing things that relate to himself.

Okay, so, on the one hand Kappy is self-taught and he's actually pretty intelligent, all things considered! And he can take himself for most of the part, since he largely has to fend for himself outside of beetledad murdering the shit out of any external threats to his safety. On the other hand he's never left the forest prior to Scrib, and his interactions with most people up until that point have been limited but extremely traumatizing, so! He's kind of social-dumb.
